Andi Ashworth - Editor-in-Chief

Andi Ashworth and her husband, Charlie Peacock, are Co-Founders/Directors Emeritus of Art House America. Andi is a writer (author of Real Love for Real Life: The Art and Work of Caring), gardener, cook, and lover of good books, walks, and connecting conversations. After providing hospitality to thousands of people over many years, it is Andi’s joy to be in a more private season of life, able to work on a new book and shift the focus of her Art House calling to the care of this unique space for readers and writers. Many of her essays on food, hospitality, place, vocation, and the artful life can be found on the Art House America Blog. Andi holds an MA in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. She and Charlie have two grown children and four grandchildren.

She enjoys many good things in her life, but she would always rather be reading. Her writing can be found on the Art House America Blog, Comment Magazine, The Curator, and Proximity Magazine.

Jennifer Strange - Assistant Editor

Jennifer Strange received an MFA at the University of Florida, and her poems have appeared in The Oxford American, Christianity and Literature, and Rock and Sling. For ten years, she taught writing at Centenary College of Louisiana, whose lawns she grew up on between Suzuki violin lessons. More importantly, she once survived Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk with three other women, she can make a mean fruitcake (Grandma's recipe) and good peanut brittle (other Grandma's recipe), and her cat wouldn't protect her from an invading gecko if she begged. Most importantly, she is married to a weekend pilot with whom she raises four young sons.
